Social Equity Campaign Full Speed Ahead

We are in the final stretch of our 2018 Social Equity Campaign through the Community Investment Tax Credit program. We still have 2018 tax credits to distribute, so if you are able to donate $1000 or more, you’ll be able to get a 50% credit against your tax liability, or a refund for that amount if you don’t have a tax liability.  Just make sure to make your donation by  December 31st, 2018 to get the 2018 tax credit. We’ll be here to greet you at the office, or you can send by mail.  It’s like a holiday every day as donations come in! Each gift gives us glee knowing it will immediately be put to use to drive our work forward. It has been an amazing program for everyone involved!

We are so grateful to our contributors and to all of our supporters who have played an important role in getting the word out and hosting house parties. A special thank you to our 2018 House Party Hosts:

Brandon Wilson; Dennis and Rona Fischman; Cory and Nick Mian; Emily and Rahul Bhargava;Sean Eisnor; and Stephanie Toews-Moeling.

And to all of the friends and neighbors who helped make these events happen!

Somerville sits on the original homelands of the Massachusett, Wampanoag, Naumkeag, and Nipmuc tribal nations. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory, and we honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land on which we live and work.
