Welcome David Tisel

SCC is happy to introduce David Tisel as a new project manager in the Real Estate Division.   David came on board with SCC in August and has jumped right in to managing SCC’s 100 Homes Initiative. “I love how the staff at SCC dives into the work and serves the community with a positive attitude, ” says David.” And of course, all of the great restaurants for lunch in Union Square…”

David lives in Somerville and comes to our work with great qualifications and a great work ethic! His credentials include serving as a Harvard Kennedy School Rappaport Fellow; working as a Housing Cooperative Loan Associate for the Local Enterprise Fund in Roxbury;  serving as a Program Associate at City First Homes in Washington, DC and as a Americorps VISTA volunteer. Throughout his work and education David has also learned to speak Spanish fluently.

David holds a Master’s Degree in City Planning-Housing and Community Development from M.I.T. and graduated with High Honors from Oberlin College, OH.  If you see David around please say hello!
