Kicking off in the fall of 2014, SCC is now offering an online homebuyer training called The Road Home. You can take the course at your convenience and in the comfort of your own home, but you will be required to attend one 2-hour in-person session, held monthly, at SCC. Course registration is $100.

Our first morning session will run from June 3rd – 24th (Weds & Thurs), from 9:15am-Noon.

Participants will gain important information and skills to help them navigate their financial lives more successfully. After successful completion of the course, including attending all 7 class sessions and 2 individual counseling sessions with SCC staff, graduates will receive a $200 stipend to get them started on a successful financial path!

Somerville sits on the original homelands of the Massachusett, Wampanoag, Naumkeag, and Nipmuc tribal nations. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory, and we honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land on which we live and work.
