Participants in the First Source Culinary Arts workshop winter 2018

The First Source Jobs Program connects people who are looking for jobs with local employers. We are committed to helping people who live, work or study in Somerville gain the skills and training they need to obtain good jobs.

As a First Source participant, you and your career coach will work together to establish a personal action plan to reach your goals and develop strategies to advance your career and overall well-being. All First Source participants have access to:

  • One-on-one career coaching
  • First Source Networking Cafe
  • Job readiness workshops
  • Community Resource Room
  • Connections to local employers, job openings, and job trainings
  • Connections to other community resources
