Michelet Espady

Career Coach

Michelet brings more than a decade of experience in business operations, project coordination, and community engagement to his role as First Source Career Coach at Somerville Community Corporation. He has worked across nonprofit, healthcare, and government sectors—supporting diverse communities through program management, training, and stakeholder partnerships.

In Haiti, Michelet served as Coordinator of the Center for Business Development and Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where he led initiatives to strengthen small enterprises and managed large-scale development projects. After moving to the U.S in 2023, he served as a Special Projects Assistant at St. Francis House and expanded his exposure to healthcare systems at Boston Medical Center through his fellowship with the African Bridge Network, which supports immigrant professionals in navigating and relaunching their careers in the U.S.

At SCC, Michelet is passionate about empowering job seekers to achieve economic sustainability by providing career coaching, job readiness training, and connecting participants with pathways to high-quality employment opportunities.

Michelet holds an MBA and speaks English, French, Haitian Creole, and has working knowledge of Spanish
