HUECU is seeking a Digital Operations Specialist to support our growing digital banking operations. This role will be responsible for supporting the operational effectiveness and efficiency of our digital banking, mobile apps, and online account opening platforms. Expected to provide backup and coverage for other operational duties as needed.

Under the direction of the Digital Operations Manager, will manage support tickets with multiple vendors, requiring significant follow-up and self-motivation. This role will coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure timely and successful resolution for issues impacting our members’ digital banking experience.

Working Conditions

Interview and onboarding activity for this position may be conducted via telephone & Zoom video conferencing, based on the department’s current presence on campus.

Harvard University Employees Credit Union (HUECU) is an on-campus community and all positions are based in Boston and Cambridge.

The majority of jobs at HUECU are hybrid remote/office. During the initial 90-day training period, new employees may be expected to work in the office more frequently, up to full time. When appropriate, remote work must be performed in a state in which Harvard is registered (CT, MA, MD, ME, NH, NY, RI, NH, and VT). Additional details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Basic Qualifications

The following qualifications are the minimum threshold for which a candidate must meet in order to be considered for this role.
• High School diploma
• A minimum of two years related experience.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

The following qualifications are strongly preferred. If you meet some, but not all, we still encourage you to apply. HUECU values employees with a willingness to learn.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency with modern desktop and mobile devices.
• Comfortable with working in hybrid office/remote work and/or non-traditional hours in support of operational requirements as needed.
• Self-motivated and deadline driven, with critical attention to detail, and the capacity of staying motivated and focused while working independently in a hybrid office/remote environment.
• Direct experience with financial services operations.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Basic competency with Excel.
• Familiar with Jira ticketing software platform.
• Comfortable with digital work tools, such as Slack and Zoom.

Schedule
• 7.00 hours per day/35.00 hours per week default schedule.
• Additional hours will be required, either early or late weekdays, and occasional weekend hours depending upon business needs.
• Attendance at after hours meetings and events expected.
• This position is Overtime eligible and part of the bargaining unit (HUCTW union)
