Position Description:

POSITION: Clerk
DEPARTMENT: Assessor’s
SALARY: $44,045.59
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties, as directed, on behalf of the Assessor’s Office. Duties include but are not limited to filing; mail distribution; recording, process excise tax abatements; preparation and filing of exemption and abatements applications. Provide information and referral for customers on a wide variety of City services and programs. Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated and customer-oriented individual with excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal skills needed to interact with diverse cultural community. Ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously with a high degree of clerical accuracy. One to three years of experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn department-specific software. Multi-Lingual ability preferred.
