3-month Temp Executive Assistant – Harvard Graduate School of Design

Position Description:
Summary:
At the Harvard University, Graduate School of Design. The Temp Executive Assistant will help out the Department of Architecture with in-person office coverage 5 days/week. Duties include addressing and triaging walk-ins, phone calls, and help with specific tasks at the direction of the Associate Director, Program Manager and Executive Coordinator.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
-Serve as assistant for Department of Architecture staff and faculty leadership; greets visitors to the office, takes phone calls, monitors departmental email accounts and provides ad-hoc support as needed.
-Serve as back-up for meeting scheduling and calendaring for the Chair of the Department of Architecture.
-Provides support to associate director, program manager, and executive coordinator with respect to department activities and projects; may be asked to coordinate and staff events and/or meetings, and coordinate room reservations, catering, projects, technology and events.
-Responsible for data collection and data entry, as requested.
-Performs additional duties as requested.

Work Environment:
-This position is in-person, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with potential for specific projects to be performed remotely or in a hybrid fashion.

Pay Rate:
-$32.00-$34.00/hour depending on experience

Position Duration:
-3-months from hire
