Sweepers are responsible for picking up the luggage at various baggage claim offices throughout the terminals.
Each sweeper should be able to verify and assign a delivery number and sign out each delivery order that the airlines set up.
The deliveries will be taken from each terminal and loaded into the box truck gently so the bags do not get damaged.
Do not drop or throw the bags out of the box truck when unloading the bags at the warehouse. These items belong to someone and should be handled professionally and with care.
After unloading the bags, you will then place them on the shelves in numerical order. This makes everyone’s jobs easier when trying to locate a delivery.
Please be sure to communicate with the dispatcher on duty if you notice anything wrong with the company vehicles or baggage issues.
